Flowers in salads

Debbie keeps mentioning flowers in the salads.

May I have more details on that? I have plenty of flowers.

Besides the everyday things we see being used as garnish and color these are some other flowers that can be used
Amaranth,artichoke flowers,cardoons,chives,dill,eggplant,garlic,jerus alem artichokes,nasturiums,okra,rosemary,salsify,sugar snap peas,beans.
