I'm in a pickle.  Silly me buys a bag of flour and dumps it into a sealable container and then I throw out the packaging.  Now I can't remember for the life of me if that was all-purpose or bread flour.  It's a huge container, what can I do now to discern which kind of flour I have?  I feel so silly.

Borrow 1/2 cup of all purpose flour from a neighbor. Measure out 1/2 cup of your flour. Add 2 tablespoons of water to each flour. If the resulting doughs are similar, then yours is all purpose. If the dough from your flour is stiffer then it is bread flour.
