I joined a culinary staffing company that does shows and events in the bay area. My job will be cook II. I will be working the grill. I'm so excited! No more wrapping hot dogs or handing out salad cups at events. I mean the interviewer speed-read my resume and cover letter, etc. and asked if I had my servsafe certificate, my restaurant management certificate and BAM! "call tonight and leave a message". This is so the company can start working on background checks, etc. They said their pretty slow in January, but it picks up as the year progresses. I'M GOING TO FINALLY GET EXPERIENCE!!!! I'M SO HAPPY!
