Hi there!

I just wanted to say 'what's up?' and introduce myself.

I'm a new vegetarian learning to cook new recipes with ingredients I have never used before and I have lots of questions.  This seems like a great place to start as I Googled a question about why my bread turned out so crappy and it took me here.  I am new to forums but they seem like a great place to get answers to questions.

Welcome, Jesica! I'm glad you saw immediately the best of Chef Talk: it's a great place to get answers to your questions and to learn more about, in your case, vegan cooking. We have a good number of chefs and pastry chefs who have participated in discussions and provided lots of advice. You can use the search tool to find recipes using various ingredients, plus the word "vegan", and then be amazed at the number of hits you get!
