Just did a search for farquar and came up with all sorts of bizarre things, none of 'em relating to food!
I did not know that people ate farquhar, but then again I don't live in Aldarbra. The birds name is actually Amirante, which is part of the "Farquhar" group of birds. Nancy, was this person just posing this as a retorical question? cc
CC: this person said she saw it on a cooking show and wanted to know what it was. I don't think - but who knows? - that she intends to cook these little birdies herself. She also asked about Farmer Cheese but at least I knew what that was! Nancy
