Executive Chef Position

    I'm in the middle of some due diligence here so please bear with me on the question. I was wondering if anyone knows this or if there even exists such a thing but....for grits and shins......   

    Is there a statute of limitations in New York State regarding a time frame of when a "same company" owned restaurant can restaff a position and title that was previously eliminated from the operations of the restaurant?

    Let's just say it's the position of Executive Chef and this was a key role in the original start-up of the operation but after a year of operations, the person, position and title was eliminated from the restaurant staff. By the way....they did not replace the position or allow anyone to use the title.
