Just before Chef Mario Batali was opening his Manhattan in 2006 - 2007, Ristorante Del Posto in the Meat Packing District of Greenwich Village, he and his team of cohorts, had once again visited and recommended a favorite restaurant in Bologna. After taking note, the Gent, my younger daughter and her husband and I have headed over to Bologna. The refined and phenomenal Lasagne Bolognese with Besciamella ( white sauce = Bechamel ) and The Veal Ragù are unforgettable.
