I am an intermediate level cook who can't get enough of new ideas in food, destination dining and travel. I also have an insatiable passion for doing everything out of the box. After speaking with many chefs over the past couple of years, I discovered that chef's and restaurants have a difficult time in this digital age with exposure (how people find them). Culinary travel is on the rise yet still in it's infancy. To date, no one has brought together food and travel until now. I started Destination Cuisine as a way of putting a different take on chef's and their great recipes being discovered. As an international site, it is bound to be flooded with chef's from all over the world.

    Welcome.

However, I don't think your comment about culinary travel being in its infancy.  I've travelled the globe - and still do - often to attend cooking courses and taste local cuisine.

Thanks for your feedback and I agree with your comment about culinary travel being around for quite some time. What is growing is culinary tourism as a stand alone in order to promote the culinary aspects of a destination. From the standpoint of culinary tours however, one must go to a particular country or region of the US in order to search for those experiences. I am pulling all aspects of culinary travel together on one website...and giving chefs a way to promote their restaurant, hotel, gourmet shop etc...through discovery of their recipes. So, when people are searching a particular cuisine or region of the world, the recipes will be a part of the search results and may steer users to try certain cooking classes, restaurants or events.
