I've often heard that gas ovens are not ideal so I was looking for a good dual fuel 30" oven. Any experience on these in terms of good low heat simmering as well as high btu water boiling power?

Also, I'm very interested in those that have dual ovens in the free-standing models (or slide-in) or a warming drawer.

    Thanks

I strongly prefer electric ovens to gas so I'd look at dual fuel. But it's expensive as you're essentially paying for a gas system and an electrical system. Also for the supplies in your home you have to route gas and electricity.

For even more money, I'd look at an induction system and go all electric. The induction stoves I've used impress me even more than a gas cooktop. But it's very expensive.
