Good day, I run a confectionery  industry. I will like to venture into doughnut production. I would like to know how much doughnut filling machine will cost, and how long can jam doughnut last in the market. Thank you in anticipation for your response.

    Hi Hennie,

The manual fillers are pretty reasonable. A lot of fillings are shelf stabile. With proper temps and sanitation you should have no problem.

Our bakery makes about 300-500 donuts a day, and even though we spent about $4,000 on a big depositor that hangs on our donut fyer, we STILL use our original small hand-held depositor instead. Why? Because unless you're using exactly the same dough, you'll spend more time cleaning and emptying the bigass depositor than the smaller one. Our bakery, for example, makes a wide variety of artisan donuts, including different cake donuts, etc etc. It just wasn't worth the money (learn from my experience...my former donut guy insisted on the big one, and never ONCE used it).
