We are considering selling prepared dishes i.e. lasagna, enchilada pie, etc. refrigerated or frozen dishes. Need more profitable ideas. Limited resources on supermarket shelves. Good produce available. Good meats. Need help, anyone want to come to the land of sun and fun?

Ive been to the DR (Sosua) two times and all I can say about your project is that it's very, very risky.

Many autochtones in the DR have to fight poverty every single day; bad customers for your future business, unless you're reinventing beans and rice. I've seen local women buying half a package of spaghetti!!! Maybe the south of the island is doing better?

The other part of the population are the tourists. Let's estimate 80% of them stay in all-inclusive hotels; no much business either.

What did strike me, was the huge consumption of rum! Maybe cheap rum-based drinks?
