As someone who has been interviewing candidates for 30+ years I always have wondered if Fellow Chefs take the time to at the least acknowledge that someones sent you a resume. For the most part, if a qualified candidate forwards me their work history, I always take the 30 seconds to reply to them. Granted it's pretty much a generic note stating that I've received their information and if it matches up to my needs, I'll be getting back to them. Best of luck...blah blah blah. But not so much if the candidate isn't even close to meeting the qualifications for as we all know, time is never on our side!!....Just askin'
