I am in the market for a new stand mixer, but I am having trouble deciding between these 2 models. I am leaning toward the 7 quart because I love the bowl lift more than a tilt mixer ( i hate when tilt heads start bobbling when they encounter resistance). My only hang up is that it is very large and I only cook for 3 people. I rarely do over 1 cake or 2 dozen cookies, but I do make bread occasionally and I've heard nightmares about bread in an Artisan mixer. I fear that if I get the 7 quart, it will be too big to cream just one stick of butter or whip small amounts of liquids.
