in my normal butter cupcakes do i add milk? and also in chocolate cupcake milk is important right?
If the recipe you have on hand cals for milk to be used then use milk. There are so many different cupcake recipes out there that it is really up to you what you wish to use. I have recipes using a range of products such as milk, cream, sour cream, yogurt, buttermilk and no milk.
I like milk in a basic white cake, cupcake. The little bit of extra fat adds a hair more tenderness. Some people sub water for milk, or add milk powder. it really all comes down to what works for you, or what you want in your recipe.
if the recipe works well with Milk, than keep it that way.
