I just viewed a rather interesting site about a marketing strategy that could promote the culinary signatures of any country. What do you think the culinary flag of the U.S. should be? I would think something that has to do with apples, you know as American as apple pie? But with all the new age food trends and being the melting pot that we are... do we go traditional or look to the future? Hummm???

When all of the flags are done, take one large picture of all of them. Then you will have the culinary flag of the USA

Apple pie was British looooong before it became synonymous with 'Mom and....'!

And the French, German and Dutch aint too shabby at the apple pie making, either!

Any and all of which nations probably introduced it to the USA!
