The family and I will be doing our annual cruise again this year, most of us are going this time around. We'll be sailing with Celebrity, our first time with them. Out of San Juan we hit the following; St. Croix, U.S.V.I., Basseterre, St. Kitts, Roseau, Dominica, Castries, St. Lucia, Bridgetown, Barbados, St. George's, Grenada, Oranjestad, Aruba, Willemstad, Curacao, San Juan, Puerto Rico. I've been to St. Lucia, Barbados, and Curacao while one of my accompanying uncles has toured St. Kitts last year and we've all left from San Juan a couple years ago on our Panama Canal cruise. The rest of the ports are a mystery to us. Surprisingly there aren't many at sea days so it'll be a busy trip especially having my 4 y/o cousin in tow. Excursion wise, they all seem to offer the typical island fare activities like nature hikes, cultural and historic tours, diving and snorkeling (I'll probably be bringing my snorkeling gear for some of the ports), and relaxing at the beaches. A few ports have cooking classes, one of them is unbelievably expensive though (I think it was Grenada) priced at around $140CAN for a 4hour activity. I fell in love with ATV tours on my last cruise but there wasn't any listed on this one, 1 dune buggy excursion in I think Aruba or Curacao. Anyone been to any of these port cities? Most of the excursions I'm looking at are snorkeling tours but I've found little information about what the snorkeling is like in any of these port of calls and I find first hand experience is far more accurate and more detailed then most online reviews. I'll be doing geographical and demographical research later, this trip doesn't start for another month. Just looking for opinions first if anyone on here has any, it would be much appreciated.
