I'm not quite sure what an undermount sink is.
Do you mean you want the sink totally under the counter, so that none of the metal shows? That is, the sink will be mounted to the underside of the counter, but otherwise is the same? If that's the case, I can suggest several possibilities. If you have something else in mind, please expand on your description.
Why not consult a good plumber ??? or ask in Home Depot?
Depends on the sink.
Generally, you drill holes in the counter base, not all the way through of course. Epoxy (special high strength stuff) in some bolts or clip mounts. If the sink has holes in it for under mounting, use bolts, otherwise you use a clip. Wait for it to set up. Caulk the sink rim, hold it in place and tighten the bolts/clips.
