    Oh yikes, there are too many to say!  I have a bit (OK a lot) of a sweet tooth and I have an amazing recipe for yoghurt loaf - I usually make raspberry and elderflower, but it's so incredibly versatile - I've even made it with Red Bull once!

    What's yours? :)

    I made a (savory) black pepper/sharp cheddar yogurt loaf for a small town Christmas bake off.

    Was awarded a blue ribbon even.

    I need to dig that recipe out and give it another whirl!

    Anything roasted or toasted....

    Currently fixated on waffles with a generous handful of (toasted) pecans in the batter.

    As breakfast is the fisherman's domain he has learned to cook my waffles until crispy.

    Varies with time of year and what is available... soups/stews/slow roasted meats in winter, BBQ anything with cold salads in summer!

    My favorite food of all time is also my favorite recipe. It's nothing fancy it's my moms recipe for

    German Pancake

    1/2 cube butter

    6 eggs 

    1 cup flour

    1 cup milk

    Preheat your oven to 425 degrees.

    While it's heating take a large frying pan(12 inch minimum) put the butter in it and put it in the oven to melt the butter.

    Whisk the flour into the eggs.

    Add the milk slowly to prevent lumps.

    Once the butter is melted and a little bubbly, pour the batter in to the pan and bake for 30 minutes.

    I like mine with lots of syrup. My daughter likes salt. It's wonderful with anything.

    I have a million other recipes I love but this one is what I would want for my last meal.

    It's really good if you replace part of the butter with bacon fat too.

    Oooo, hard to call, I don't think I could name a 1st place but I make a Bolognese sauce that takes about three hours to make, but it's worth it!

    My favorite dish is called Chak-Chak, and it's traditional food in some parts of Russia and Middle Asia. My grandmother calls it "medovaya gorka", which can be translated as "a honey hill". She cooks it perfectly. It's made of deep-fried dough and honey syrup. It's crispy, sweet, and extremely delicious.
