I like baking cookies,my friends grand daughter calls me "cookie monster". I use half sheet pans, trouble is, the bottoms of the cookies sometimes burn. Are there cookie sheets that might work better? Or a better method.

It could do with the temp of you oven, otherwise line the sheet pan with parchment or use a silpat.

There is a cookie sheet that is insulated. Maybe that would help, but I still line it w/ silpat or parchment.

A heavier cookie sheet might help--I like Chicago Metallic's "commercial" cookie sheet, and so does Cook's Illustrated. They are relatively inexpensive.

But, really, baking parchment can't be beat.

Could it be that you need to move your oven racks up farther?  Maybe one notch up?
