Hey Kab, glad to read that you have a fiery passion to move up the ol kitchen ladder. Work your butt off hard, plain and simple. Soak in knowledge by reading books on food and food science, understand the food your working with completely. Never stand around, always help someone on the line, if no one needs help, clean something. The chef will see this and as long as your knowledgeable, good, and not afraid of hard work, in time your dues will pay and you will succeed in being a hard working good paid chef.
