    Hi to you all folks,

I tried to make chocolate souffle twice. Both time I made excellent chocolate cakes and not souffle...When the recipe said to bake the souffle for 15 to 20 minutes I baked it 16 minutes. WHat am I doing wrong?

    Thank you!

you're right there are several hundreds and I did watch some of them. I thought I did the same thing but I was apparently wrong and didn't imitate properly. I'm trying to understand my mistake.

Without your recipe it will be difficult to help you.

Most souffles are basically a thickened sauce added to whipped egg whites then baked until poofed and dried inside.

The method is as important as the ingredients.

Maybe let us know the steps you saw. Go into your youtube history, unless you erase your history from youtube, it should still be there.

I agree, we would need the recipe and the steps you took to make it.

Look forward to hearing from you.
