    Hello everyone!

I'm new here and I'm not really a professional chef or anything related to culinary but I just want to learn more about baking and cooking. Anyway, I have a recipe to share. Even though I'm not a professional, I guarantee you these cookies are the best. I think any girl will like this, even guys. :)

    1/4 cup (59 g) unsalted butter

    1 cup (237 g) cocoa powder

1 cup (237 g) granulated sugar (or 1/2 cup white and 1/2 cup brown sugar)

    2 large eggs

    1 1/2 (355 g) cup all-purpose flour

2 teaspoon vanilla extract (artificial or pure)

    1 teaspoon baking powder

    1/4 teaspoon salt

    1/2 cup (118 g) confectioner’s sugar for coating

    1) In a medium bowl, cream the butter using an electric or hand mixer. Add the granulated sugar and beat until the butter-sugar mixture is fluffy. Do not overbeat.

    2) Add the cocoa powder and mix until incorporated.

    3) Add the eggs, one at a time. Then, mix the vanilla extract.

    4) In a separate bowl, whisk the flour, baking powder and salt together. Then, add this to the chocolate mixture. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly distributed.

    5) Cover with a plastic wrap and let the cookie dough chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours to 6 hours.

    6) Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and place the rack in the center of the oven. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

    7) Place the confectioner’s sugar in a bowl. Using a scooper or a teaspoon, scoop the cookie dough and form into 1-inch balls and then roll the balls in the confectioner’s sugar.

    8) Place the balls in the cookie sheet, about 1 1/2 to 2 inches apart from each other.

    9) Bake the cookies for about 9 to 11 minutes. Remove from oven and place them on a wire rack to cool.

    10) Serve and enjoy the crinkles!
