Has any tried chinese truffles or foie gras?
Just wondering if they were any good.
wow, lots of q's . Have used the canned black chinese truffles when folks want a truffled chix, pasta, etc for cheap. Better than the truffle peelings sysco, us foods sell for 4 times the price.
Never heard of a chinese foie gras, sorry.
A buddy of mine tried the chinese foie gras and said it was realy mealy. I suggested he make a torchon and maybe pass it a few times before poaching.
Anyone have any experience with this product?
