    Hello all,

    I'm thrilled to join this growing and influential community. Although I have over 28 years of being in the front lines under my belt, I strive to learn something new every day. Here's a quick rundown of my professional career.

    I got my start inauspiciously at a Pizza joint in Tallahassee, FL while getting my BA in Mass Communications from FSU. I moved to Washington DC after graduation and was tapped by the legendary Jean Louis Palladin to halo him renovate and reopen Jean Louis at The Watergate Hotel. After a year Jean Louis recommended me to Michel Richard who was opening Citronelle in Baltimore, MD. I was then hired to subsequently turnaround two historic but failing restaurants in the DC suburbs. I then took a front of house position at another historic property called Antrim 1844. In 2009 I moved to Houston, TX and with my partners Joe Rippey & Justin Casper we opened Two Saints Restaurant. Unfortunately, my health deteriorated early in 2013 and I had to bow out of that partnership.

    Ever since then I have spent every waking hour writing a three volume cookbook series called "Comfort Food Without Borders. The first volume was just published and the second volume is set for release in April 2014. The final volume will be released in January of 2015.

    I look forward to sharing stories and learning from everyone.
