Cake Layers Not Sticking Together

Multiple builds of a six layer cake for restaurant dessert option per chef's specs. Built on a full sheet pan within a frame. Layers are (top to bottom): mousse, cake, mousse, cake, ganache, bottom. This cake presents MANY challenges, one of the biggest being that the layers do not adhere together. Mousse and ganache are made the day of build. Cake layers are pulled from the freezer. After build, cake is placed into the freezer, before being cut then glazed.

Do you brush your cake layers with napage? The extra moisture and stickiness might help the mousse adhere better and help avoid slipping layers.
