Anyone know how to make a cake that actually gets you tipsy? I am hoping to cater a party for se iceome colleagues and it would help break the ice.

i must add that whatever you choose, you have the responsibility to inform people that your dessert contains alcohol in case any may have a problem with alcohol...this includes allergies...

Joey, nothing beats a good rum cake.

    Baldwin,

I don't think I have ever purposely tried to get any of my guests tipsy. If your are looking for ways to  " loosen the mood " why not just give them a glass of wine ?

What about a dessert drink  ?

There are so many cakes with alcohol on the net....but one cake will not get 5-7 people tipsy, unless the cake comes with built-in shooters....

If your aim is still a cake with alcohol then here is one site:

Remember, alot of the alcohol cooks off.

I hope you have a good dinner party.

    Petals.
