I have been looking for a decent Recipe for Bulgogi. I am fairly novice, so I need details. I am in the US, preferably not in metrics.

I've tried a few, and most of them use a lot of Soy Sauce. I was hoping to use a little less.

    Thank you everyone.

    Looking forward to options.

    Have a great day!

Ironic timing; I've been thinking of bulgogi also. I'm not very ease or at Koren cookery and my last attempt was too complex for the result. Initiall I thought that soy sauce was required but a Korean friend recommended this recipe:

Marinade 1 lb sliced beef in 1/2 cup Nashi pear (juice or grated) and 3 Tbsp rice wine for 30 min. Drain.

Mix 1 tsp salt, 1.5 Tbsp sugar, 1.5 Tbsp minced green onion, 1 Tbsp garlic paste, 1 tsp sesame paste, .5 tsp pepper, and 2 tsp sesame oil. Marinade meat for 2-3 hours.

    Grill beef. Baste with marinade.

Never tied this myself so let us know how it works out if you try it
