Bem Casados question again

    Ok, so I found a recipe for BC using cups and the recipe called for 4 whole eggs, 3 tbs sugar, 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 potato starch, 1 tsp bs and 1 tsp bp.  Mix the eggs and sugar for 15 minutes until fluffy. Mix dry ingredients together and add in bits to egg mixture and fold by hand well.  Put in pastry bag and drop mixture on baking sheet that is greased.  This was all on video with the cook explaining what she was doing and when she beat the eggs and sugar for 15 minutes on med to high speed it became very thick and light colored.  When I did it, it was kind of runny.  I added the flour mixture to the egg mixture and it was not very firm so when I tried to drop the mixture on the baking sheet, it kind of ran and was thin.  I baked it for 10 minutes and it was crunchy and no taste.  I am so agravated that I can't get the recipe to work.  Hope this post makes sense.    I am posting a link to the video I used to make them with and it's in portuguese.  But if you watch how she mixes the sugar and eggs together, you can see how thick it got and mine didn't.
