I just got word from our supplier that he lost his whole crop of sour cherries due to heavy rains.  I am a little sad, as I had my heart set on putting a summer dessert on the menu using them.  Our sweet cherries are gorgeous, but no sour.

Is there anyone on the West Coast that is getting sour cherries?  Maybe I can find someone else that will ship to Las Vegas.

Haven't seen any sour cherries being tracked on AMS. Where's your grower? Washington state supplies should be coming online soon.

You can buy the dried ones at most Indian and Iranian groceries as they use them a lot ,in particular Iranians..

Check Michigon. I read a lot of sour cherries are grown there.
