I have an old pickle recipe I have been using for years. They are called Aristocrat Pickles. It is a sweet thin sliced crunchy pickle. What I would like to know is can it be made with very small 1 -2inch whole cucumbers. The pickles are brined for 8 days, drained and then simmered for 1/2 hour in alum water, drained, covered with ginger water and simmered for another 1/2 hour, drained and then simmered in a spiced syrup for 1/2 hour.
