100% new to cooking, but aiming to do a decent job at my home kitchen... for myself and for my family. Here to learn all I can, I humbly thank you, Nicko, and all of you guys for this site, and this opportunity. /img/vbsmilies/smilies/smile.gif

Welcome rookie and thanks for the funny reminder of Beetle Bailey which I used to read as a child. We have some excellent "How-To" articles in our archives for cooking I recommend searching that area to start. Anything particular you are looking to learn? I might be able to point you to a few articles.

Haha... cool to know that! I used to read Beetle Bailey, too. Loved it!

Thanks for the tip on the "How-To" articles. Will definetely hit them regularly.

As for your offer, It'd be awesome to get anything regarding beginners on a low budget trying to learn and practice proper cooking, especially on simple salads, fish & chicken cooking, burritos, and chinese food. I've already managed the knives acquisition issue and the knife skills training part, so any material regarding the next steps would indeed be very much appreciated, too.

Thank you so much for your time and great vibes.
