    What Bordeaux Chateaux over looks the Gironde and was built on the site of a 15th century fortress used by the English to fight off pirates ?

    Well, it's not Blaye, because the fortress there was built in the 11th -12th centuries, and rebuilt in the 17th ...

    Maybe something from Pauillac?

    I have thought about this one for awhile and even checked out a few of my wine books. But I have to admit, you have me stumped on this one.
