"One of the best for the money. Stays sharp through a lot of use. Easy to maintain"
    5/5,
Pros - Good length for large boning tasks. Such as,a ham butt. Or shoulder.
Cons - Can't think of any.
After 50 years in a kitchen. And growing up where I broke down lots,of whole animals. I come to rely on a good boning knife to do a lot of tasks.
Large knives have there place and nothing can really do the job they were designed to do. But a good boning knife covers a lot of territory. And I find this is the one I reach for most.
So, having a quality knife is absoult. And the Zwilling is one of the top knives at a great value. But I must confess, I never buy retail new. There are lots of sellers out there where you can pick up used in almost new condition. For less than half of new price.
You may need to clean and sharpen a used knife, but the money you save is well worth it.
