The students who participated in the writing of this cookbook spent two years in its production, starting September 1997 and finally publishing it in March of 1999. Through the integration of English, Art, Food Service, and Agriculture the development began. It was a long process, due to the fact that it took more than just ideas to create the recipes. It was a process of trial and error; and a lot of tasting of our mistakes. Eventually the task was completed and we began to publish. This first publishing of the cookbook will never be forgotten; in the printing, it was collated incorrectly and had to be re-collated by hand, one page at a time, then bound. The students worked hard to accomplish their first book, and we hope that you enjoy it, as much as we know you will enjoy the recipes. Through the funds raised in the sales of the first cookbook, we have been able to publish this second edition.
