    Superbowl Party!

    My wife runs a very popular bar and grill in town. She is going to work and I am going to sit on my butt and watch the big screen. I will drink a bunch of Mirror Pond pale ale, eat wings, and probably have some ribs. They are doing BBQ chicken, ribs, and pulled pork.

    ^^^ HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I love it. Yeah, that guy is a jerk, but I think Alex Guarnaschelli is the worst. I would LOVE to see them do the show, and see how well they would do. Have one basket with Cod and Parmesan cheese.

    My friend introduced us to an Old Vine Zinfandel called "Gnarly Head". It is a very good tasting red wine and it is a fair price. I get it at Albertsons for $9.00 with my shopper card discount, and it retails for anout $14.00. A good bottle of wine for the price.

    I would suggest a pilsner because it is nice and light. I love me a good plae ale, but they are pretty complex to eat with pizza in my humble opinion. For pizza, to be honest, I prefer and ice cold glass of milk!

    I like to use stock for making rice. It is nice and subtle, but adds more flavor than water and salt. I heard a good trick is to put your stock into ice cube trays and freeze it. I wonder about that "freezer" taste, though.
