Thank you for that explanation I have never heard of that before. Most interesting. I had thought that cooking was to do with cooking savoury dishes where as baking was to do with baking cakes and biscuits more dessert type things or sweet dishes. I am probably wrong here.

Hi there all I know is that a lot of biscuits are made with yeast powder but I use self raising flour and take out ounce of it and replace it with cornflour to make the biscuit crispy. Hope this helps.
sorry missed out the measurements the self raising flour is about 5 ounces of flour and the butter to use is the same. The milk is small but only put in enough to make a soft dough with the lemon juice and rind. Sorry.
