The restaurant has been slammed. Outdoor kitchen is rolling, and we're having lots of fun. I'm thinking lamb chops this weekend

Shrimp and Grits have sold better than any special we've ever done. AMAZING! It's so gratifying to do something and succeed!

Cant sleep. I have so many things going through my head for the restaurant. So many specials and menu items I want to start doing. I've already come so far with my scratch making specials. I just have so many more ideas. It's gonna be a great summer!

Still no floors at the restaurant! ARGHHHHHH!!!!! I'm getting so frustrated because I can't make any money! No floors = no cooking, no cooking = no income! DAMN!

Well I went down to the restaurant today for the first time in a couple of days. My recent addition to the family (my first daughter), has really kept me away from work. Luckily, this time of year is extremely slow due to the seasonal nature of my business, so we're able to get a lot of chores and renovations done. My business partner Craig has been handling all the repairs while I've been absent. I cant wait to get cooking again. Any ideas for a quick and easy lunch special for when we get rolling again? I'm thinking a seared pork chop with some nice pork gravy made out of the drippings of the pan? Maybe include bacon somehow? mmmmmm....

Well here I am. I'm going to do my best documenting my restaurant - the food, the people, and the fun!
