I've been cooking as an avid amateur for many years. Most of my everyday meals have a Mediterranean style and for dinner parties, which I have about 1/month, France is the major influence. I also enjoy Japanese styles and food and will eat almost anything at least once. Aside from cooking, I do a fair amount of wine tasting and maintain a cellar of about 1500 bottles (not as a collector but meant for my own consumption).
