I am a fun-loving, warm and friendly person from the beautiful twin-republic state of Trinidad and Tobago.

Our cuisine is influenced by many combined cultures. All in all we know and love great tasting food. People who visit rave about our cuisine.

I have been cooking since the age of 8 years. I can still remembering the experience and still have my very first cookbook to prove it.
Over the years since then, I have been self-taught - exploring the culinary arts.

I have been involved in the establishment of a small baked goods delicatessen, and have been doing catering and personal cheffing.

I attended and graduated from a two-year culinary programme from a top reputable tertiary level vocational institute here.

I have won a Prime Minister's special award for Creative Scientific Ingenuityin Food Manufacture - where I re-engineered a popular local food snack-meal that would see to a healthier alternative as well as address health concerns among the population.

I am currently focusing on experimentally re-engineering traditional food dishes and baked goods, etc. that will assist persons with special dietary needs - such as gluten-free, diabetic, low sugar, low fat, etc. This, so that people would still enjoy their meals without feeling that their life is over.

I am hoping that I would be able to make a contribution here as well as learn quite a lot. It is a great feeling to be among like-minded professionals - your own kind! I think chefs are people of vision, and creativity and passionate about what they do. We like to see people happy about eating what we create for them to enjoy. This is our reward, and gives us reason to keep going - offering solutions when and where we can.
