I'm far from expert at single bevels. If you're making some sort of very basic mistake, it shouldn't be too hard to clear up. But if it's something more complicated you might have to go to a different forum; say the CKtG forum or the KKF.
Rather than me starting out with a step by step tutorial, why don't you go first? How are you sharpening it now?
