Pomegranate: This luscious red fruit comes from the Puriáceas family and its origins hail from western Asia. This round fruit, the size of an apple, and called a Chinese Apple by some, has numerous sweet gel like edible seeds and a pulp valued for its´ juice. It contains a great quantity of Vitamin C and is used to garnish salads with goat cheese and in sauces for feathered game,  turkey or chicken and roasts in Granada, Andalusia, Spain where Pomegranate Groves flourish.
