- 1 pound of ground lamb
- 2 peeled and finely chopped onions
- 2 cloves of crushed garlic
- 4 and 1/2 cups of chicken broth

- 2 cups of long grain rice
- 1 teaspoon of crushed dried oregano
- 1/2 cup of raisins
- 1 jar of diced pimientos

Combine the ground lamb, finely chopped onions and garlic in a large saucepan and cook over a medium heat for about 8 to 10 minutes until the lamb gets browned and onion is tender. Drain out the excess fat.
