Baklava: This Greek and international renowned phyllo pastry dessert is filled with crushed pistachios ( and / or other nuts ), cinammon, vanilla, cloves, sugar, lemon juice, rose or orange flower water and honey. The phyllo pastry dough is generously brushed with clarified butter for goldening.  It is very common in Greece, Turkey, Morocco, Israel and other countries in the Gulf and Middle East.
